35th Anniversary Program about to begin

by David Varno | Sep-12-2009

We’ve just heard the three-minute call for the program to beign, and the VIP section of WNYC’s beautiful new Jerome Greene Space is full with current and former board members and past NBCC presidents.  WNYC has been a remarkable host, and we have to give a special thanks to Production Manager Nikki Johnson and Producer Indira Itwaroo.  We have such an exciting line-up, and overheard murmurs hint at an eagerness to share tales of NBCC history.  Joel Conaroe, Brad Gooch, Steve Wasserman, Reamy Jansen, Greil Marcus, Richard Lock, David Ulin, Elizabeth Taylor, James Marcus, and many others are here, and Kit Reed just came over to introduce herself. John Ashbery and E.L. Doctorow are in the green room, and will be out soon.

Please click here for live video from WNYC, and follow Critical Mass for updates and quotes.
