We Have Another Winner, #2….

Chris Guadet of Vancouver, Canada, guessed correctly that Martin Amis was the author whose comments from his Paris Review interview were quoted in the clues in installment #2 of the NBCC/Paris Review “Name that Author” contest (see below). His answer hit the NBCC in-box first, at 8:28 pm EST.
But then, in the virtual equivalent of a photo finish, Jacob Silverman in Los Angeles logged in at 8:28 pm EST, as well. His answer: Martin Amis. So both will get the three-volume Paris Review “Writers at Work” interview set.
Of the dozens who responded, the runners up who answered correctly within the first few hours (indicating varying time zones or insomnia or both) were Seth Christenfeld and Vikas Turakhia (both at 8:38 pm EST),Ruby Arbogast (10:42 pm EST), David Baynham (10:46 pm EST), Jeff Nagy (12 am EST), Brannon Larson (12:14 am EST), Chris Crocker (12:46 am EST), Sanjay Sipahimalani (1:16 am EST),Valerie O’Riordan (3:05 am EST), Anthony Miller (3:29 am EST), Sean Coleman (4:33 am EST), and Annette C. Bergmann (4:39 am EST).
