Bookslut Founder Heading to Berlin
by Jane Ciabattari | Apr-28-2009

Jessa Crispin, former NBCC board member and founder of Bookslut, is leaving Chicago for Berlin on July 1. She explained her move yesterday on her blog , noting Bookslut’s 7th anniversary:” As for how this will affect Bookslut: Caroline Eick, my very smart, trustworthy, and amazing assistant, will become the new managing editor. She’ll be handling the review books, new reviewers, etc. She’ll also continue the Chicago reading series. The blog will pretty much remain the same.” Chicago Tribune reaction here.
