NBCC at Manhattan Lit Crawl September 15

by Mark Athitakis | Sep-14-2012

Attention New Yorkers! Tomorrow, September 15, is the Manhattan Lit Crawl, a full evening of readings, panels, and lit-themed good times at a host of venues; check out the Lit Crawl website for a full lineup. We hope you'll join us at 6 p.m. at Scratcher for "Revise and Recant," in which some of our top literary critics publicly confess to the reviews they wrote that were misjudged, misguided, or just plain wrong. NBCC board member John Reed will MC, and participants include contributors to the Brooklyn Rail, Art in America, Out, Slate, the Millions, the New Inquiry, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Paper Magazine, the Daily Beast, and Guernica.

For more on the event, take a look at "Regrets, Even Critics Have a Few" at the Wall Street Journal, which features a few examples of critics' regrets. Hope to see you there.
