As part of Fall for the Book, the largest multiday book festival in the Washington, DC, area, the NBCC brings together a group of critics and writers for what promises to be a lively and provocative discussion about the changing face of books and the role of the literary critic today. Participating on the panel are Britt Peterson, deputy managing editor of Foreign Policy magazine, Sarah L. Courteau, literary editor of the Wilson Quarterly, Allan Fallow, features editor at AARP The Magazine, and novelist Rick Moody, whose latest novel is The Four Fingers of Death. (Moody will read with novelist Jennifer Egan immediately following the panel.) Moderating the panel is Bethanne Patrick, host of The Book Studio.
