Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that the annual best-of lists of books have reached a zenith this year (ironically enough as space given to reviews per se continues to plummet). At the London Review of Books, Daniel Soar has an amusing review of the lists thus far (thanks to “Conversational Reading” for the tip.
