Wine, women, and song——and cats

by Maureen McLane | Jan-24-2009

and men, bread pudding, and books: again, what’s not to like?

People: LITERACY IS FUNDAMENTAL.  As someone said…...

I realized I may have mis-inputted Joshua Clarke’s name as Joshua Corey: sorry Joshua!!!

Perils of liveblogging.

Let’s go, as the poet Anne Carson says, “random channel”: shout-out to my cats Biscuit and Bopr!

And great poetry re: felines: Christopher Smart, “Jubilate Agno”: For I shall praise my cat Jeoffrey.

On another front: We will not have to suffer through another book “written” by a presidential pet, right?  Was that a first George Bush phenomenon?
